Most students and faculty at ITP have a blog of one sort or another. There’s way too many to keep track of. I’ve always thought it would be great to see them all at once. And not only great–also weird. Some people rant neurotically while others document dilligently. There’s explanations of code fragments, manifestos, photo essays, procrastinated class assignments and paradigm-shaking creations. We’re a strange brew.
Two nights ago while combing for WordPress installation instructions, I stumbled upon a Plug-in called FeedWordPress. This widget extends and transforms a regular WordPress blog into a digest of multiple ones. And for once in my sordid history of software downloading, it totally works the way I need it to. So here’s the first draft of the ITP BlogBlender. About 50 different feeds from ITP students faculty and staff unite to create a decidedly inspiring and eclectic site. Enjoy.
