I’ve been asked a few times about kit availability for the Building Wireless Sensor Networks book. Yes, soon! The electronics elves are feverishly working on it, and keep mumbling “February, if not before.” Watch this space for more info.
Also, some nice mentions showing up for the book:
- A book review from Dr. Dobb’s software development site
- Make Magazine has posted about it on their blog
- My friend Terence had some lovely words
- Liz Danzico talked it up on the SVA IXD blog
- Tendril’s CEO and ZigBee Alliance’s Adrian Tuck also offers hisĀ kind attention
There are even a couple technical corrections already posted to the errata page. These will be incorporated into future printings.
Just picked up your book, looking forward to seeing this kit!
Any updates on whether these are still coming? I’ve been (barely) holding off buying the book as I was hoping there might be some sort of book+kit deal. Thanks!
Kits are still in the works. I’m fairly sure that there will not be a combo deal, at least initially, so buying the book first would still be a safe bet.
Any updates on the kit front? I want to buy one before I go to live overseas for a year!
They are very close to release, I’m told. We’re waiting for some resistors to come in….
